My Thoughts:
I was the best wife and aunt this past weekend, as my husband and nephew, along with my husband's brother-in-law were able to have some male bonding time, as they spent the better part of Sunday watching Power Rangers Super Samari Volume 1 and Volume 2 advanced DVDs I was sent to review. I was hoping to surprise my nephew with these DVDs at an upcoming sleepover, but my husband found them and told him about them.
My husband and brother-in-law were huge Power Rangers fans back in high school and college. They say liked watching it for the martial arts and action sequences. I tried watching a few episodes of the original series and the new series, but could never get into it. But, this didn't stop them from enjoying themselves for over 3 hours. Now airing on Nickelodeon, this action packed series is a hit yet again, with both young and old viewers. With new weapons, super modes and a new super villain, Master
Xandred, this popular series is keeping viewers engaged and entertained. Prior to viewing these DVDs, my husband had only caught a few of the episodes. So, by the time he was done watching both volumes on Sunday, he was all caught up with this new popular series. He even added this show to the DVR, to stay up-to-date and not miss another episode.
Do you have a Power Rangers fan in your house, from the original series or this new series? If so, then they will enjoy this newly enhanced series, which is all the buzz amongst the male viewing audience. So, make sure you pick up volumes 1 and 2 when they release on August 14th. You will definitely make their day -- I know, as I did!
