Tech Tuesdays: Lazoo's FREE Squiggles App for Kids (Review)

I downloaded the recently released Squiggles! app this afternoon from Lazoo. I planned to have Savannah try it out during our upcoming three hour drive to NH, for vacation  But, she stumbled upon it when watching her cartoons on the iPad.  As soon as the drawing app loaded, she began smiling.  She will be two on the 19th, but didn't need directions from me.  (Sniff, Sniff).  Instead, she listened to the voice over telling her what to do, like making spaghetti swiggles, beards on people, strings on balloons, etc.

After a half hour of play, I tried to pull her away from the app.  She was so content drawing and watching the scenes come to life.  I continually found her making squiggles for the car scene and the beard scenes.  Then, when they came to life, she couldn't stop laughing.  It was so cute to hear her innocent laugh.  When she finally walked away from the app to play with her sister, I tried it out.  What a fun interactive app this was.  I could see why Savannah was having so much fun.

Just look at the app in action:

The best part about this app is that it is FREE.  I know what you are thinking.  You have downloaded free children's apps before, only to be disappointed with the quality or mass advertisement spamming.  You have to download Squiggles!, as it really is a must have for young children, and will keep them entertained for hours -- without any ads. :-)

Squiggles! is based on Lazoo's best-selling coloring and activity book and is FREE to download.
