Shopping Challenge -- Spend $75 at World Market for Bathroom Decor Makeover -- Plus Info on African Safari Sweepstakes

 

Do you ever plan your vacations around shopping? Well, I do. At least once a year, I try to head down South with my husband to visit Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC. While there, I make it a point to shop at World Market stores. I was introduced to this store years ago by a friend who lives in TN and swears by the deals she gets there. So, when I visited GA a few years back, I stumbled upon a World Market and became an instant fan. When I can't shop in person, I do my shopping online through their World Market website.

So, it was only fitting that I plan an impromptu trip to the South a couple of weeks ago, as I was selected to help promote World Market's new African Safari Sweepstakes they are currently running, while shopping their new collection. Cost Plus World Market is giving away an African Safari Adventure for two, inspired by the new Kingdom Animalia Collection.  

Thanks to the folks at Cost Plus World Market and Pollinate Media Group, I was given the task to shop for bed/bath decor and spend $75.  Seventy-five dollars may not seem like a lot of money to redecorate a bathroom with.  But, if you are familiar with World Market stores, then you know the great savings and products they offer.  I found this campaign enjoyable, as I found it challenging not to buy the entire store. :-)  

Luckily, I room in my suitcase for some of the unique finds I bought.  Due to the size of two baskets I wanted, I ended up waiting until I returned home to order online, so that they could be mailed to me.  Within 3 days of placing my order online, I had my two baskets in hand.  How great is that for service!  So, what did I end up buying for $75.  Take a look:

I can't lie...because I had to order online, I paid $10 out of pocket for shipping costs.  But, the actual World Market products total only $74.98.  Yippie!  I came in under budget!!! :-)

Last night after the girls went to bed, I took my goodies upstairs into the guest bathroom.  I loved breathing life back into this room with these unique and fun finds.  What do you think? 

And, to think I got all of this for under $75.00.  I just love my updated bathroom, inspired by World Market's Kingdom Animalia collection.  Now, I make a point to stop by and peek in each time I pass by it putting the girls down for a nap, or tidying up.  And, it was great to get away with my husband for the weekend, without the children  -- to shop and relax! :-)

With the holidays fast approaching -- Yes, I know that we are still in summer, but with a blink of an eye, you will be seeing holiday decorations popping up in stores soon -- World Market will be my one stop shop for holiday gifts.  I have been ordering online for two years now, and always find gifts for everyone on my shopping list -- even the hard to shop for ones.  And, everyone who receives a World Market gift loves it!
