The Lima Bear Stories series. Also check out The Megasaurus, How Back-Back Got His Name, and The Cave Monster

My Thoughts:

This is the fourth book in The Lima Bear Stories series, and just as good as the previous titles.  At least once a week, I find myself reading The Cave Monster to Savannah at bedtime, as she loves the illustrations.  But, this book is starting to become a bedtime favorite, as she is starting to enjoy books about princesses.  What I love most about this series is that they offer activities and learning activities that families can enjoy together, and extend the fun beyond just reading the story.  Even though my daughters are too young to ask them what they learned from reading these stories, I know in time that these learning activities will come in handy, to expand their love for reading and comprehension.

If you have had a chance to read previous titles in The Lima Bear Stories series, then you will love this new title.  Not familiar with this series?  No worries, as you can pick up and read this book and enjoy. Then, you will find yourself wanting to get the other titles.  These books are easy to read, and the illustrations are simply beautiful to look, and do a great job in bringing the story to life.
