Does your husband love shoes just as much as you do? Well, this is the case with my husband. When I was putting away his clothes the other day, I counted his shoe collection -- 15 pairs in total. He has dress sneakers, running sneakers, mowing sneakers, play sneakers, dress shoes in brown and black, and casual loafers. Then, I looked in my closet and only counted 6 pairs of shoes. I have to admit that since welcoming the girls in 2010 and 2011, my need for a closet full of clothes has declined, and I find that having a good pair of sneakers, dress shoes and slippers is all that I need.
Every Christmas, I get my husband socks, underwear and undershirts. And, then for his birthday, I would get him a pair of shoes. But, now that he is a dad, I have been combining his birthday and Father's Day gifts, as they are just days apart. He still gets separate cards, but now the girls surprise him with a pair of shoes to add to his growing collection. And, this year is no different.
