Mother' Day Gift Giving Guide -- Pure Ice Nail Enamel (Review)

Before becoming a mother myself, I always looked forward to shopping for gifts to give my mother on Mother's Day.  I would try and think outside the box, and stay away from flowers, chocolates, etc.  Instead, I would give her a goodie bag full of treats, including nail polish.  So, it is only fitting that I include nail polish in my gift giving guide.  I was excited when I was contacted recently to try out Pure Ice's new spring/summer 2012 Collection.  I was send their Beach Blast and Strip Tease colors, and loved how they looked on my nails, and how they lasted a long time, without wearing or cracking.

Being a busy mom on the go, the last thing I have time for is a trip to the nail salon for a manicure.  I also found that it wasn't worth it to have my nails done, as they either break or the polish chips, from constantly washing bottles, doing laundry, and taking care of two children under the age of two.  That doesn't mean I don't treat myself now and again, when I have a special event or dinner out planned.  But, on those occasions when I want a little color on my nails, I reach for a bottle of nail polish from the medicine cabinet.

After trying out both the colors sent to me by Pure Ice, I have to say I was liking the Strip Tease color, more as it was a shimmery pink.  The Beach Blast color was a shimmery hot pink color, which was hard to pair with my current winter/spring wardrobe.  I can't wait to use it, though, when beach season comes on my toenails, to show off when wearing sandals.

If you like to give unique and fun gifts for Mother's Day, why not surprise Mom with a few bottles of Pure Ice nail enamel, from Bari Cosmetics, including colors from their spring/summer collection.
