My Thoughts:

Who doesn't like Barney?  Well, many parents can't figure out why their young children love this purple dinosaur.  But, after years of being on television and in live event shows, as well as all the books and merchandise that is available, surrounding Barney, you can't help but sit and watch this show with your children.

In each fun-filled episode, Barney and his friends go on adventures, sing and dance and get your children excited about hings like cleaning up, friendship and working together.  Savannah has a limited vocabulary, but every time Barney and his friends break out in song, she sways her head from side to side, like she understands it.  Even if you don't like Barney, you can't help but appreciate the positive messages these shows share with your children.  I see Barney being around for years to come, as more and more children will be introduced and will fall in love with Barney, the purple dinosaur.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD from HIT Entertainment in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
