Summary:

Baby and mommy cook, nap, rub noses, and make joyful noise in this cute and cuddly happi board book, that babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups are sure to adore! Dena's illustrations are highly recognizable and irresistibly cheerful. The rhyming text is predictably structured to engage the interest of the youngest readers, yet packed full of fun surprises! Who doesn't love mommy/baby time?

My Thoughts:

This was a quick read and one that I enjoyed reading to Savannah and Arabella.  And, because it is a board book, I don't have to worry about the girls ripping the pages, as they try to help Mommy turn the pages.  The best part for me about the book was the animals illustrations, which included mommy and child monkeys, lions, giraffes, elephants, kangaroos and pigs.  The book is about how playtime with mommy is so fun, and makes a baby happy.  From napping to cuddling, Mommy and Baby can have so much fun bonding.  And, with this sweet beautiful, which is illustrated in such a way to keep young children engaged, both you and your little one will enjoy curling up on the couch and reading this book together.  Don't forget to end the reading session with a great big hug and kiss!
