Tidy Tots -- A Mess-Free Solution to Potty Training (Review)

Potty training your child is tricky.  On one hand you celebrate that your child has successfully used the potty chair.  On the other, you are faced with the "yuck" of cleaning the potty chair after your child uses it.  Cleaning the bowl of your potty chair after your child has gone "number 2" is not a pleasant experience for anyone.

More about Tidy Tots:

Tidy Tots™ disposable potty chair liners take the mess out of your child's potty training experience. No more dumping or pouring your little one's success into the toilet and then trying to clean and sanitize the potty chair for the next use. Tidy Tots™ will put an end to wiping out what is left behind and cleaning after your child's potty training session.

Tidy Tots™ disposable potty chair liners are designed to fit in most any potty chair. Simply cover the removable bowl of your potty chair with a Tidy Tots™ plastic disposable potty liner, smooth it into place, and add a Tidy Tots ™ super-absorbent pad. The super-absorbent pad is designed to absorb more than your child can create in one sitting, so you can choose to change the liner after each use or wait for 2-3 uses. When finished, simply remove the liner from the removable potty chair bowl, pull the drawtape closure and tie it closed. Simply discard the liner just as you would dispose of a diaper.

Finally, mess-free potty training products!

An idea for a parent on the go! Potty training shouldn't limit your schedule or that of your child. Take your potty chair in your vehicle along with a Tidy Tots™ disposable potty chair liner and avoid the public restroom nuisance.

My Thoughts:

If you have been following my blog these fast few weeks, then you know that we are working on potty training Savannah.  I had hoped I would have been able to accomplish this in a weekend, but with our 3 month old who is up most of the day now, it is hard to spend the needed 10-15 minutes per potty visit, in a given day.  I am finding that when Savannah show signs she has to go the bathroom, Arabella begins to fuss or needs a bottle or diaper change.  Ahh, kids.

But, when I do make it to the potty with Savannah, I love having Tidy Tots to use with her Elmo potty.  These disposable potty chair liners are easy to use, and offer a quick and easy clean-up , so that I can quickly attend to Arabella if needed.  And, because I don't have the luxury of dropping everything to spend an entire day potty training Savannah, I find that when we visit with Nana and Papa, she is more prone to go potty, to show off.  My parents love Tidy Tots, as it saves them on having to wash out the portable potty chair I bring to use -- my dad, especially.

Are you potty training your child, or getting ready to?  If so, why not pick up a few boxes of Tidy Tots disposable potty liners to have on hand.  As a busy mom, I am loving how this product makes for a mess-free potty training experience for both Savannah and I.  As soon as she goes the bathroom, I can quickly dispose of the waste, before she can play in it -- yes, this happened a few times, when I quickly had to run and check on Arabella -- and, it wasn't fun cleaning up the bathroom.  But, since beginning to use Tidy Tots with potty training, it has made this experience so much easier, and more enjoyable.
