     My Thoughts:

I was hoping to hide this DVD set and surprise Savannah with it for Easter, but as soon as she saw me take out of the mailing envelope, she was clinging to my leg, asking to watch Barney.  How could I say, "No" to that cute little face?  So, over the course of a week, we have watched this fun-filled 3-DVD set, which includes Barney, Baby Bop, BJ and Riff to name a few.  It was hard to see which one the 3 shows was Savannah's favorite, but as a parent, I enjoyed watching the Animal ABC's one with her.  I loved how Barney and friends were able to associate an animal with each of the letters in the alphabet, and made learning the alphabet fun.  In addition to each of the three fun and educational shows, this DVD set also included some wonderful bonus material including sing-alongs and games.  My husband watched and sang the three Spanish songs to her.  And, just last night, I caught him singing Te Quiero Yo to her, when putting her to bed.

So, if you have a Barney fan at home, this DVD set, which is priced under $20.00, would make for a perfect gift or DVD set to add to your movie collection and share during an upcoming Family Movie Night, or as a rainy/snowy day activity.  With school vacation this week, I am letting a fried borrow this 3-disc set to watch with her little ones, who just adore Barney.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
