Disney on Ice's 100 Years of Magic -- XL Center in Hartford, CT Show Review

Last night we got to attend the opening night of Disney on Ice's 100 Years of Magic, playing at the XL Center in Hartford, CT.  Wow!  What a great show it was.  I think I enjoyed it more than my daughter, Savannah did.  This was the first Disney on Ice show she saw, and what a show it was, to introduce her to the Disney on Ice shows.  Celebrating 100 years of magic, this show included many of the popular Disney characters, as far back as Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket.
Prior to the show, I began showing my daughter some of my favorite Disney movies, including Toy Story, Little Mermaid and the Lion King.  So, when she saw the characters skate onto the ice, she knew who they were and was excited.  Savannah loved the Toy Story and Mickey and Minnie Mouse acts, while I thoroughly enjoyed the It's a Small World and Lion King acts.

The crowd went wild for the Lion King act, and Woody and Jessie, from Toy Story, got the crowd going by having everyone yell, "Yee Haw!!!"

Here are few photos of Savannah enjoying the show:

Overall, this show was fast moving and very entertaining.  It was great to see all the family's that came out for a night of magic and Disney fun.  I can't wait to bring Savannah and her little sister to another Disney on Ice performance.

If you haven't bought tickets to this show, you must, as it will be a family favorite and a great day out with the family.  And, anywhere you sit in the XL Center offers a great view of the ice.  So, what are you waiting for, click here to order tickets now from Ticketmaster.

Disclosure:  I was given tickets from the vendor in order in to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
