This winter, Ben Tennyson and his friends are put to the test to protect the world from menacing aliens in Cartoon Network’s DVD release – Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: The Wild Truth.
In the latest installment of Ben’s adventures, a new alien named Ultimate Wildmutt, who packs an unmatched punch and menacing roar, comes to town to help the team as old enemies resurface. Featuring 12 thrilling episodes from the Ben 10 Ultimate Alien series’ third season, and an Ultimate Alien Database, the 2-Disc DVD hit stores on December 6, 2011.
A perennial hit series on Cartoon Network, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien was the #1 program in its time slot among Boys 6-11 and Boys 9-14 during its second season, and about 4.3 million Kids 6-11 and 3.3 million Boys 6-11 tuned in. Furthermore, in a rank of all programs on Kids competitive cable, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien was a Top 3 program among Boys 6-11 on Friday nights, according to Nielsen Media Research. Episodes of the show air Friday nights at 7:30 pm (ET/PT) and Saturday mornings at 7:00 am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network.
My Thoughts:
I ended up watching this DVD with my nephew and his friend, who are both big Ben 10 fans. They kept telling me about this movie, so I was excited when I was able to surprise them with it. In the movie, Ben battles both old and new aliens, which my nephew liked a lot. He couldn't stop talking throughout the movie, as he wanted to fill me in on the characters and how AWESOME this movie was.
We ended up watching this movie two times that day, and since I gave him the DVD to take home, his mom says he can't stop watching it, and watches it at least once a day. So, I guess it is a hit with him and would be for other Ben 10 fans. So, if you have Ben 10 fan at home, this is a must have DVD, and would make for a great holiday gift this season.
