Yoplait's Save Lids to Save Lives Program, Including Link to Recent WebCast

Last Wednesday I watched the live webcast of Yoplait's Save Lids to Save Live program.  If you didn't catch this webcast or want to learn more about this program, head on over to Facebook.com/Yoplait and click the Save Lids to Save Lives link to watch Yoplait and the Denver Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure honor long-time breast cancer volunteer, Joanie Lucas.

Joined by neighbors, volunteers and Yoplait, Joanie painted her entire home bright pink to remind people that the fight against breast cancer starts right next door! The house will remain pink for the month of October to symbolize women across the country who are working to make a difference in their neighborhoods and communities through programs like Yoplait´s Save Lids to Save Lives and their local Komen Race for the Cure. During the webcast, Joanie Lucas, Komen representative Michele Ostrander, and Yoplait representative Berit Morse discussed Joanie´s efforts and simple ways people can support the cause. So, if you weren´t able to tune in - you can still visit the Yoplait Facebook page and watch inspirational interviews with breast cancer survivors and see Joanie´s expression as her house was officially unveiled.

This is just one of many Breast Cancer campaigns I will be sharing with my Inspired by Savannah readers during the month of October, for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

If you know of any campaigns that you are participating in or would like to me share with readers, please send me an email or leave a comment below with more information.
