My MAM Rock-A-Bye Baby Party Experience

Last Tuesday night I found another excuse to have my girlfriends and their children over for some fun mommy and me time -- I got to play host to the MAM Rock-A-Bye Baby Party thanks to Child's Play Party and MAM.  Prior to my party, I was send a large box of goodies for both my guests and their children, as well as myself and my daughter Savannah, to enjoy, including teethers, toothbrushes, pacifiers, bottle and so much more.

Just look at the goodies we were sent from MAM and Child's Play Party:

This party was for moms who had children between the ages of 0-2, and with Savannah being 14 months old and part of a handful of playgroups and meet ups, it was easy to find friends who fit this criteria.  So, Tuesday night at 6PM, I had 10 friends and their children over for some fun.  You should have seen my house -- it looked like a daycare!!!!  Luckily, my husband decided to catch a movie, so he didn't have to deal with the chatter of ladies and the running around and playing of children, as I think it would have drove him a little bonkers after a long day at work.  But, we girls and kids didn't mind.  We cranked up the radio, danced around the house and played some great games.  In addition, Child's Party sent along some party ideas and games, including a birth certificate/announcement sheet they sent for each mom to complete and attach their child's photo to.

We enjoyed this activity, as it got us reminiscing about when they were tiny and how time goes by so fast. Newer moms were able to ask questions of the older moms in regards to napping, teething, feedings, etc., which was great.

We enjoyed a buffet of desserts that each mom brought with them while we played games, danced and just enjoyed the company of each other and our children.  I had a sampling of baby foods and treats for the children, which they just loved.

Out of all the games we played, all the moms agreed that they loved the "Test Your Baby IQ game," in which each mom answered baby-care related questions.  This got us to talk about the wonderful products put out by MAM and how they have helped make life easier on us moms when it comes to feeding and teething to name a few.  The mom with the most points won a gift pack  which included lip gloss, a candle set and photo frame.).

By 8:30PM, half the children were rubbing their eyes and ready for bed, while some had left a little earlier, as not to miss their bedtime routines.  So, we decided to call it a night.  Before the moms left, they all completed a questionnaire about their party experience, and then left with a goodie bag full of the products we talked about all night.  Most of the moms were excited to receive the bottles and pacifiers, and couldn't wait to try them out with their children and share their thoughts with friends on these amazing products from MAM

I am so grateful to have a great group of girlfriends to turn to and spend quality time like this with, as every mom knows raising children is a 24/7 job, and it is nice to unwind and have some fun in a group every once in the awhile -- it keeps you sane.

Thanks MAM and Child's Play Party! for selecting me to host this party -- it was a huge hit!!

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from MAM and Child's Play Party in order to host this in-home party.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
