This past Saturday was a great mail day, as I received a sample jar of Biscoff Spread to try out. My family has never tried this spread, so we didn't know what we were in store for. I first learned about this product from a fellow blogger who was entering their blogger contest with one of her lunch-time recipes that uses Biscoff spread. So, after hearing about her creation in the kitchen and how much her family loves this product over other peanut butters and spreads, I had to try out Biscoff Spread for myself.
My first reaction to trying Biscoff Spread is how much it takes like eating peanut butter cookies. This sweet and creamy spread is made with 67% European Biscoff cookies. I knew you could spread this on toast, but I wanted to get even more creative with this luxurious spread, so I headed to the Biscoff website to check out some of the recipes that they listed, which included Biscoff spread as an ingredient. Here are a few that caught my eye:
On Sunday morning, I got up early and tried my hand at the Biscoff Oatmeal Pancakes and the Biscoff Banana Milk Shake. Boy, did they make the house smell good -- and, they tasted great! My daughter loved sampling the banana milk shake. I will definitely be experimenting with other desserts and lunch-time recipes that I can incorporate Biscoff Spread into in the coming weeks, as well as try the remaining recipes I listed above from the Biscoff recipe section of their website. Thanks to Biscoff and my friend for turning me onto this amazing product. Biscoff Spread will definitely be a staple in my pantry from now on.
Head on over to the Biscoff website today and order a 2-pack of Biscoff Spread (28 oz. each) for only $12.95.
Disclosure: I was sent a sample of Biscoff Spread in order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine alone.
