My Review:

I enjoyed reading this book with my daughter.  The storyline is cute and can be easily understood by children ages 3-7 years of age.  With beautiful illustrations of the Shnoozles by the author herself, this rhyming book will be a great story to read with your young children.  It follows a group of Shnoozles who like to play baseball.  But, each time they play they loose their baseballs in the forest, and when they are thrown back, they are split in half and red hot.  Not knowing who or what is doing this, they decide to trek into the forest after they loose their last ball.  As they travel into a cave, they come a across Bud, a 500 lb., two-headed creature, who is crying.  Bud really wants to play ball with the Shnoozles, and feels bad he throws the balls back red hot and in half.  When the other Shnoozles realize that Bud is not a threat and that he just wants to have fun like they, they invite him to play ball with them.  Bud shows up at the next game and turns off his fire.  And, you will have to read the book to learn the ending.

I especially loved the compilation website that goes along with this book series (Note:  This book is the first in a series of 4 to be published).  Click here to check out all the fun and educational games, songs, and more you and your child can do today.

About the Author:

My name is Eileen Morris and I live in Irvine, California with my husband, 3 grown children, daughter-in-law, and our always-ready-for-trouble, chocolate lab named, Vinnie.

For the last 25 years I have been writing, illustrating and creating books for and about children.
As a child, I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Being one of five kids gave me the opportunity to exercise my mind, body and soul a lot! Using this energy, and my newest creations, The Original Shnoozles, we visit classrooms on the East and West coasts, leaving our young audience excited about reading, creating stories and Shnazzercise (exercising the Shnoozles' way)!

Shnoozle you later,
Ei
