Summary:

This business primer makes it easy to understand how to do business online. How? Boost Your Revenues by Turning People Away.

Part 1 identifies who your company’s ideal client is, and how that ideal client becomes an ideal online visitor
when searching the Internet or looking at your company website. Part 1 also includes links to various worksheets to help a business person identify the ideal client.

Part 2 outlines three simple ways to put together a website, so your ideal visitor feels confident about your
ability to identify and solve problems.

Part 3 tells your ideal visitor how to find your site.

Alison Silbert has been writing articles for six years. This is her second book. Silbert’s aim is to help clients reach their online marketing potential. She wants customers to understand how to leverage the Internet to build their businesses. Most of the book’s content comes from real dealings with clients and providing answers to commonly asked questions.
My Review:

 4.5 stars out of 5

This book is great if you are looking to create a website or have a website that needs revamping.  I currently have a business website that I created last year, but have neglected, as I have been working to get my prototype and final product ready for market.  Now, that I am almost ready for a product launch in May, this book came at a great time, as it provided some great insight into how to draw traffic to my website, as well as ways in which I can improve my current website.

One of the great features of this book is that at the end of each chapter, Alison provides a chapter summary, as well as shares a glimpse at what is in store in the next chapter/section.  Alison did a great job in breaking down the steps in creating a website, connecting with visitors/customers and maintaining customers and keeping your site up-to-date.  You can choose to read Part I to start, if you don't have a website, and need to determine what type of website you need and who you are trying to target.  Then, when you are ready, you can move onto Part II, where you will learn how to create a website.  And, finally, Part III can be used to help you draw your "ideal visitor" to your new website.

Overall, this is a great book for those not familiar with website and how to get started.  Like I said, I found this beneficial, as I originally created by website without first thinking about who my "ideal visitor" would be.  I just felt I needed a website, but wasn't working at drawing traffic to the site.  Now, that I am ready to launch my product, my website is key in having "ideal visitors" stop by and learn more about my product, and hopefully buy and share my url with others.

So, if you are looking for an easy-to-read book about creating a website and drawing traffic to your site, then this would be a great book to pick up.  It is a quick read, but will provide you with invaluable information to help make your business a success.
