FREE E-Course -- How to Overcome the 5 Most Common Obstacles to Soul-Centered Success

I recently had the opportunity to take part in a FREE 5-part e-course from Soulful Coaching for Busy Women.  The e-course was "How to overcome the 5 obstacles to success."  What was great about this course was that I could apply what I learned not only to my business, but also to my personal life and other goals I have set for myself.

The five obstacles all include assignments to help apply what you learned through the Soulful teaching, and to see where you need to make improvements on.  I found each of the assignments very beneficial, as it let me write down on paper what I need to change, how  can work on improving things and much more.  It makes it real when you are able to write things down, as you can't take them back or pretend you didn't write them.

The five obstacles discussed were (I included quotes that should out to be for each):

1.  You are disconnected from your heart and your purpose -- "Being disconnected from what you truly want often brings you to a place of exhaustion, frustration, or feeling unfulfilled and unable to move forward."

2.  You are scared of being BIG (and stuck being small) -- "The truth is...YOU ARE THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE IN YOUR WAY TO YOUR OWN GREATNESS."

3. You think too much -- "You may be surprised to discover that when you are busy thinking too much, you often are in a state of anxiety, and you don't take good enough care of yourself, your soul, and your body."

4.  You Don't Know How to Say "No" -- "You don't know how to say "No" and it's keeping you from achieving what's most important to you."

5.  You are doing it all alone -- "I always, ALWAYS am more successful and happier when I bring others into a project or situation with me and ask for the support I need."

The two obstacles I find myself always hung up on are #4 and #5.  I get to overwhelmed with business and family, that at times I don't take the necessary time for myself, even just to breath.  I try and make myself unwind each evening, after all the housework is done and the baby is down for the night.  Even it is just lying in bed silently and deep breathing, this helps ease away the tension and stress of a busy day.  Also, I try to not spend too much time throughout the weekend online, as I want to make sure I give my family my undivided attention.  Family comes first!  And, as for #5, I am a perfectionist, so it is hard for me to ask others for help.  When I do, I find myself redoing the work myself, as I like to have things done my way and to my standards.  But, little by little I have learned to give up this "power struggle" and let others help.  Because if I don't, I will either get burnt out or fall out of love with the product I am working on.  Like everyone else, my life is a work in progress, and I found this e-course very beneficial.
