Congrats to: Ruth J.

SUMMARY:

Brooks-Crump depicts the fascinating journey of the Monarch Butterfly in her 34-page, full-color picture book. Her mission is to empower kids and their caregivers with simple, yet powerful truths: listening to inner guidance will lead to an amazing life and all parts of our life are important pieces of our transformation! Even though Brooks-Crump's book is geared towards children, this book offers a message of empowerment and self esteem to people of all ages.

MY REVIEW:

5 stars out of 5

I can't wait until my daughter, Savannah, gets older and can truly appreciate the message of Mia Inspired!   Pam's goal in writing this book was "to celebrate with your children no matter what age in the knowing of these simple truths: Inner Guidance is always available to us, we are never alone, and living the joy filled life of our dreams is our birthright!"  And, she has been successful in doing so, in this 34-page story, that offers beautiful illustrations, also done by Pam.  We follow Mia as a transforms from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly.  Scared, but wanted to take on the world, and see its natural beauty, she must build up the strength and confidence to take the next step and spread her wings and fly.  And, when she does, even as an adult, you are overcome with joy, as you can relate this to different periods in your life when you come to a crossroads, and need to decide where your life's journey will take you next.  Will your child be like Mia and spread their wings and explore the world around them?  By reading this amazing story with them, they too, will built up the confidence and make their dreams come true, knowing you will always be there to help guide and support them.

  1. My favorite book to read to my daughters is "Usborne's Stories for Little Girls" I LOVE all the stories in the book. Some are long and some are super short. I especially love the illustrations!

  2. We don't have a child just yet, a few more months! But I am looking forward to reading the Dr. Seuss books to him/her. I grew up on them and loved them, especially the Lorax. As an environmentalist, it teaches a good lesson on using up all of our resources and what it does to the environment and creatures. The pictures are also colorful and keep children interested.
